The Kansas City BBQ Source at Hot Spot Pools & Spas in Liberty, MO has announced the addition of a Brisket & Butts BBQ Cooking Class in the Hot Spot Culinary Center in Liberty, MO. The class will be hosted by BBQ Pit Master Chris Marks of Three Little Pigs BBQ fame.
Brisket & Butts is a chance to get schooled and get fed on the techniques used for cooking the “Big Meats” competition style! You’ll learn from one of the most accomplished BBQ Chefs in the world how to choose and prepare the best brisket and pork you’ve ever sank your teeth into! This is a great opportunity to learn every step from choosing the meat, trimming, marinating, injecting, smoking, and eating it from a multiple Grand Champion BBQ Chef.
Chris grew up in the Mecca of BBQ in Kansas City, MO and was introduced into BBQ at a young age by his father Larry Marks (Boss Hawg).
Larry Marks was the creator of the Three Little Pigs BBQ team and when he passed away in 1997 Chris took over as the head cook.
The Three Little Pigs BBQ Team has traveled over the United States and has won over 40 BBQ contests and the Prestigious American Royal BBQ Contest Grand Championship 8 times. Chris has been featured on the Food Channels “Taste of America” with Mark De-Carlo, Travel Channels “BBQ Battle”, and numerous other local and regional BBQ shows.
Chris continues his passion of BBQ by promoting and endorsing the Good-One ™ Smoker/Grill and mentoring and providing BBQ classes for new Good-One ™ owners.
